Grace Gummer joins Season 2 cast of 'Mr. Robot'

NEW YORK, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Grace Gummer has joined the cast for Season 2 of the Golden Globe Award-winning, hacker drama Mr. Robot, USA Network announced Friday.

Gummer will play Dominique "Dom" DiPierro, "a young FBI field agent investigating the Evil Corp Hack," a news release said. "She uses her instinctive skills to try and track down the society members and find answers."

The actress, who is Meryl Streep's daughter, recently wrapped production on Confirmation for HBO Films and starred opposite Halle Berry on Extant. She also played Nora Ephron in the pilot Good Girls Revolt for Amazon, which was recently picked up to series. Previously, Gummer had featured roles on The Newsroom and American Horror Story.

Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday and Carly Chaikin.
