Hillary Clinton to make guest appearance on 'Broad City'

Season 3 of the Comedy Central series will premiere in February 2016.

NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Hillary Clinton will guest star on an episode of the Comedy Central series Broad City.

The 68-year-old Democratic presidential hopeful announced the news on social media Friday, tweeting, "On the set of @broadcity season 3 with @abbijacobson, @ilazer and Amy [Poehler]! #yas."

Broad City later shared photos of Clinton with Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer on set, writing, "Just three best friends on the set of @broadcity season 3! #Hillary2016." The trio posed for another photo with Poehler, the show's executive producer.

"Crying red white & blue tears," the caption reads. "Hanging w/kween @HillaryClinton on the set of season 3! #Hillary2016 #AmyPoehlerSelfie."

Jacobson and Glazer co-created Broad City, and star as Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler on the Comedy Central series. The show follows Abbi and Illana's exploits in New York. It will return for a third season on Feb. 17, 2016.
