'Marvel's Jessica Jones' to premiere on Netflix Nov. 20

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Marvel's Jessica Jones is to premiere on Nov. 20, Netflix announced Thursday.

Starring Krysten Ritter, David Tennant, Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Will Traval, the 13-episode drama will be the second Marvel, live-action original to stream on Netflix, following Daredevil, which debuted April 10.

Marvel's shows Luke Cage and Iron Fist are to premiere on Netflix in the near future.

"After a tragic ending to her short-lived superhero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City," press notes said.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg and Liz Friedman, along with Jeph Loeb, who also serves as Marvel's head of television.
