LOS ANGELES, April 23 (UPI) -- Children of the '90s can rejoice for the return of their favorite teacher and class clown. William Daniels and Will Friedle will reprise their roles as Mr. Feeny and Eric Matthews in upcoming episodes of Girl Meets World.

Daniels, 88, made a brief appearance as a ghost-like figure in the pilot but will show up on May 11 in the season two premiere titled "Girl Meets Gravity." In the episode, Riley and Maya will meet their new teacher whose identity has not yet been revealed.
He will also appear in an episode on May 14 when he joins Corey, Topanga, Riley and Maya to dig up a time capsule in Philadelphia from 15 years ago.
Friedle will appear in an episode on May 15 titled "Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels." Mr. Squirrels last made an appearance in Boy Meets World when Eric tried to mediate and end discord in his friend group. He imagined their future and saw himself as a bearded hermit named Plays with Squirrels.
Rider Strong who plays Shawn Hunter will also make an appearance in the time capsule episode.
