The eagerly awaited return is expected to show Jenner and his family dealing with his decision to transition from man to woman, however a press release announcing the premiere date doesn't explicitly mention his gender reassignment.

"Bonds are tested as the family navigates changing relationships, now that Kris and Bruce have finalized their divorce," a synopsis said.

"The family confronts the challenges of adjusting to their new structure head-on, hoping to forge even stronger connections as they move forward together," the news release continued. "At the start of the season, Kris and Bruce begin to learn what it means to live outside of a longstanding marriage, and how it affects the family as a whole. Wanting to protect their mother from heartache, the girls in the family encircle Kris with love and encourage her to have some fun of her own."
