LOS ANGELES, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Reality TV star Kim Kardashian shared a photo of her new shorter hairdo on Instagram Friday night.

"I cut my hair short today," Kardashian captioned the selfie, without elaborating on what sparked the change.

The image shows her usually long, dark hair is now shoulder-length.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians icon is not smiling in the photo.

I cut my hair short today.
