PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber will be roasted by Comedy Central in March.

The television special will tape March 7 in Los Angeles with the 20-year-old singer in attendance. The network announced the news in a statement to Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday.

"Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first," content development and original programming president Kent Alterman said. "We're thrilled he listened."

Bieber made entertainment news in 2014 for his multiple arrests and general bad behavior. The pop star was voted worst celebrity neighbor on Zillow, and made headlines for his Calvin Klein underwear ads in early 2015.
