Machine Gun Kelly joins 'Roadies' pilot

Created by writer-director Cameron Crowe, the pilot will co-star Imogen Poots, Luke Wilson, Rafe Spall and Christine Hendricks.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Rapper and actor Colson Baker, also known professionally as Machine Gun Kelly, is set to co-star in the comedy pilot Roadies, Showtime announced.

Baker will play Jesse, Kelly Ann's "big-hearted twin brother, who thrives around guitars and espresso machines," the cable network said in press notes.

Imogen Poots plays Kelly Ann in the pilot, which was created by Cameron Crowe, and co-stars Luke Wilson, Rafe Spall and Christine Hendricks.

The pilot for the potential comedy series follows the day-to-day life on a successful rock tour as seen through the eyes of music's unsung heroes -- the crew members who get the show on the road, a synopsis said. .
