Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert win big at CMT Awards

NASHVILLE, June 6 (UPI) -- Carrie Underwood won the top prize of Video of the Year for "Blown Away" at the CMT Awards show in Nashville.

Miranda Lambert won the Performance of the Year award for her song "Over You" and also picked up the trophy for Female Video of the Year for "Mama's Broken Heart," while her husband Blake Shelton won a matching statuette for Male Video of the Year for "Sure Be Cool If You Did."

The Breakthrough Video of the Year and Duo Video of the Year prizes went to Florida Georgia Line for "Cruise" and the Group Video of the Year award was presented to Lady Antebellum for "Downtown."

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Eric Church shared the Collaborative Video of the Year honor for "The Only Way I Know."
