Longoria and Cruz break up

LOS ANGELES, March 8 (UPI) -- Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz ended their yearlong romance this week, a source close to the couple told America's UsMagazine.com.

Cruz is the younger brother of Spanish actress Penelope Cruz.

Longoria is a cast member of TV's "Desperate Housewives."

"It was a mutual decision," the insider told UsMagazine.com of the split. "They are staying friends."

No reason was given for the breakup.
