LAS VEGAS, July 11 (UPI) -- Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, a cast member of the Las Vegas-set reality show "Pawn Stars," says he has lost about 115 pounds during the past year.
The History (formerly known as The History Channel) series follows three generations of a family that owns a pawn shop and deals in rare and fascinating items.
"I was watching this lawyer's commercial and it was talking about the side effects of this drug and I was on that medication because of my weight," Harrison told People.com. "I went and got a Lap-Band put in and the weight just started falling off. It was like someone took a backpack full of rocks off of you."
Thanks to the Lap-Band, a protein-heavy diet and workouts with a trainer five days a week, Harrison told People.com he is now off of the medication and weighs in at about 250 pounds.
