BACUP, England, May 15 (UPI) -- British police said actor Jody Latham, a star of the BBC soap opera "Eastenders," was arrested this weekend on drug and assault charges.
The 28-year-old Latham was arrested following a pre-dawn disturbance at his home in Bacup in which an unidentified man suffered a black eye and most of his neighbors were awakened.

"There was shouting and a pink bike was thrown out of the house," one neighbor recalled to The Sun. "Two men then went round the back of the house and continued insulting each other."
Officers who arrived to investigate also charged Latham with suspicion of growing marijuana.
Latham plays the pimp Rob Grayson on "Eastenders."
