NeNe gets fired on 'Celebrity Apprentice'

NEW YORK, May 9 (UPI) -- NeNe Leakes became the latest star to get fired on the business-themed competition series "The Celebrity Apprentice" in New York.

Leakes got the boot in Sunday's episode after refusing to participate in the assigned task because she was annoyed host Donald Trump switched her to the other team at the request of her fellow competitor Star Jones, EW.com said.

"The fact is she left, she quit, she gave up," Trump said about Leakes.

"To you, NeNe, I say, you're fired. And you're a quitter. And Star Jones kicked your [expletive] whether you like it or not."

Still in the competition are Jones, LaToya Jackson, John Rich, Lil Jon, Marlee Matlin and Meat Loaf.
