LOS ANGELES, April 1 (UPI) -- Emily Deschanel's publicist has confirmed the U.S. television actress is pregnant with her first child.
Deschanel, 34, is best known for her work on the mystery series "Bones."

Her representative told UsMagazine.com about her pregnancy Thursday.
The baby will be the first for the actress and her husband, writer-actor David Hornsby.
The couple began dating in 2007 and married last year.
UsMagazine.com did not say when their baby's anticipated due date is.
