"Welcome Back, Kotter" ran for five seasons and revolved around a Brooklyn high school teacher, Mr. Kotter, played by Gabe Kaplan, who returns to his alma mater to teach a new generation of underachieving misfits nicknamed the "Sweathogs."

Strassman played Kotter's wife, Julie, while Travolta, Hilton-Jacobs and Ron Palillo played his students.
