LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- British talk-show host Piers Morgan says he will interview retired TV personality Larry King on his CNN show.

"Piers Morgan Tonight" replaced the 25-year-old "Larry King Live" on the cable network after King retired last year.

King told the BBC last week Morgan is doing "fine" as his successor.

"One of the problems they did was to oversell it -- they said he was going to be dangerous, he was going to be water-cooler talk, it was 'wait till you see me, I'm different,'" King told the British broadcaster. "Well, he's good -- but he's not that dangerous."

"I'm sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons," The Hollywood Reporter quoted Morgan as saying about his upcoming chat with King.

The entertainment industry trade newspaper did not say exactly when the interview is scheduled to air.
