Meat Loaf may be 'Apprentice' contender

NEW YORK, June 25 (UPI) -- Rock icon Meat Loaf is in talks to compete on the next edition of Donald Trump's business-themed U.S. reality series "The Celebrity Apprentice."

The New York Post reported the development Friday, citing unnamed sources for the news.

The upcoming season of the show is slated to begin taping before the end of the summer in New York.

Meat Loaf is best known for his songs "Paradise By the Dashboard Light," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" and "Bat Out of Hell."
