Sarah Palin insists they're real

NEW YORK, June 12 (UPI) -- Conservative heroine Sarah Palin defended her image as a genuine person by denying in a U.S. television interview that she has had breast enlargement.

Palin said in an interview with Greta Van Susteren on Fox News that she was the real deal and speculation about augmentation surgery was the work of bored bloggers and tabloids.

""No, I have not had implants," Palin said. "A report like that is about as real and truthful as reports that (my husband) Todd and I are divorcing or that I bought a place in the Hamptons."

People Magazine said Saturday the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate told Fox that while the rumors aren't true, she will probably have to make sure she doesn't dress in an overly flattering way for her many public appearances.

"It makes me wear layers," she said. "It makes me have to waste time figuring out what am I going to wear so that nobody will look at an area that I don't need them to look at."
