The NFL's first Filipino-American quarterback Roman Gabriel, journalist Terry Anderson, Christian singer and "American Idol" alum Mandisa, guitarist Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers, Hall of Fame baseball manager Whitey Herzog, football star who was accused of murder O.J. Simpson, Oscar-winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. and longtime senator Joe Lieberman are among the notable deaths of 2024.



Roman Gabriel

Terry Anderson
