"To my Day 1s...I love y'all...I know it's been a long time coming. I hope U love it as much as I do," Usher wrote on social media. "#COMINGHOME go get it!!!"

Coming Home is Usher's ninth studio album and his first solo album in nearly eight years, since Hard II Love (2016).

Coming Home features the singles "Good Good" with Summer Walker and 21 Savage and "Ruin" with Pheelz, along with collaborations with Burna Boy, Latto, The-Dream and K-pop star Jungkook.

Usher released a music video for "Ruin" earlier this month.

The singer will promote the album with a new North American tour, Usher: Past Present Future, that kicks off Aug. 20 in Washington.

Coming Home was released just two days ahead of Usher's headlining performance at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show in Las Vegas.

Usher said at a press conference Thursday that his halftime show performance will mark "a new beginning" in his career.
