Jason Derulo gets stranded on beach in 'Acapulco' music video

Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Jason Derulo is back with a new music video.

The 31-year-old singer released a video Friday for the song "Acapulco."

The "Acapulco" video shows Derulo and a group of friends get stranded on a beach. The group is met by a mysterious blue-haired woman, who leads them into the jungle to party.

Derulo directed the new video. He previously shared "Acapulco (Instrumental)" on his popular TikTok account.

"Acapulco" is Derulo's third song of 2021. The singer released "Lifestyle" featuring Adam Levine in January and "Jalebi Baby" with Tesher in May.

Derulo released his fourth studio album, Everything is 4, in 2015. He welcomed his first child, son Jason King, with his girlfriend, Jena Frumes, in May.
