Lorde teases new music on social media

Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Lorde gave fans a small taste of new music on Twitter Monday with the release of a 19-second clip.

"Will u love me? will u?" the singer tweeted before sharing the video of the new song which features a blue backdrop.

"I just want your love... I just want your heartbreaking love," Lorde sings on the untitled track.

The new song comes as Lorde is touring worldwide in support of her latest album Melodrama. Lorde will be bringing the tour, which started Sept. 26 in Manchester, England, to a close Nov. 26 in Melbourne, Australia.

Melodrama, which includes the singles "Green Light" and "Perfect Places," and was released June 16, is the second studio album for Lorde following 2013's Pure Heroine.
