Ciara, Russell Wilson cause stir with nearly nude family photo

March 8 (UPI) -- Ciara and Russell Wilson caused a stir on social media Tuesday with a nearly nude family photo.

The 31-year-old singer and 28-year-old NFL star, who are expecting their first child, raised eyebrows by stripping down with Ciara's 2-year-old son, Future Zahir, in a portrait for Harper's Bazaar.

"Just The 4 Of Us @harpersbazaarus," the singer captioned the picture for her 7.8 million Twitter followers.

The image features a topless Ciara holding a naked Future Zahir as Wilson embraces her baby bump from behind. Many deemed the photo bizarre, with others saying it was disrespectful to the toddler's dad, rapper Future.

"Congrats to Russell Wilson for joining the Regrettable Athlete Photo Hall of Fame!" one person wrote.

"Baby Future is way too old to be naked in that photoshoot and Ciara acts like he really doesn't have his own father, it's so disrespectful," another added.

Ciara and Future, her ex-fiancé, split in August 2014, and subsequently battled for custody of Future Zahir. TMZ reported in January that the pair agreed to joint custody, but that the toddler will be with Ciara most of the time.

The "Goodies" singer married Wilson in July, and announced in October that she's pregnant and expecting her first child with the Seattle Seahawks quarterback. She said in the Harper's Bazaar interview that she's "super excited" about her growing family.
