Nate Ruess and Charlotte Ronson welcome first child

The new mom had celebrated at a baby shower in January.

March 2 (UPI) -- Nate Ruess and Charlotte Ronson recently welcomed their first child.

The 35-year-old American singer's rep confirmed to People that Ronson, a 39-year-old English fashion designer, gave birth to a son, Levon, in February.

Ronson's mom, jewelry designer Ann Dexter-Jones, had shared a collage of photos of herself feeding the newborn Monday on Instagram. Ronson's brother, "Uptown Funk" singer Mark Ronson, previously posted a picture with the baby in February.

"#iamsoinlovewith my very first #newborn beautiful #grandchild," Dexter-Jones captioned her post. "To the left of my photo that eludes you is an incredibly beautiful and adorable baby #takemyword."

"I love my nephew, Levon," Mark wrote.

Ruess is the former frontman of the bands The Format and fun., and is presently pursuing a solo career. He released his debut studio album, Grand Romantic, in June 2015, which includes the single "Nothing Without Love."

Ronson is known for her C. Ronson and Charlotte Ronson fashion lines, and also designed a line for J.C. Penny. In addition to Mark, she also has a twin sister, Samantha Ronson, who is a DJ.
