Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth reunite for 'Wicked' duet

NEW YORK, May 7 (UPI) -- Idina Menzel shared on social media a video of her singing with her former Wicked co-star Kristin Chenoweth for the first time in more than a decade.

"Sang with my girl Kristin Chenoweth for the first time in 12 years to honor WICKED The Musical producer David Stone at the Second Stage Theatre Gala," Menzel said in a Facebook message that accompanied a clip of the pair performing "For Good," a moving ballad from the magical musical. "Very emotional. Hope you guys like!"

The performance has been viewed more than 6 million times since it was posted online Friday.

Menzel and Chenoweth originated the roles of witches Elphaba and Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked, a re-imagining of The Wizard of Oz, which opened in 2003.
