Lana Del Rey performs at Governors Ball in New York

The singer last performed in her home city of New York in June 2012.

NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- Lana Del Rey returned to perform in New York on Sunday.

The 29-year-old singer closed out the 2015 Governors Ball music festival on Randall's Island. Del Rey last performed in her home city at Irving Plaza in June 2012.

Del Rey sported a New York Yankees dress and sang such singles as "West Coast" and "Summertime Sadness." Several news outlets reported the singer was nearly drowned out at times by fellow headliner The Black Keys.

Del Rey last released Ultraviolence in 2014, and is currently on her accompanying Endless Summer tour. The singer kicked off the tour May 7 in The Woodlands, Texas, and will close June 16 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Del Rey is expected to debut her fourth studio album, Honeymoon, in Sept. Model Jake Mast announced last week the singer will release a music video for new song "Music to Watch Boys To" later this month.
