Courtney Love, Lana Del Rey to tour in 2015

Love recently expressed her admiration for Del Rey after the singer covered "Heart-Shaped Box" by Nirvana.

NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Courtney Love and Lana Del Rey will tour in 2015.

The 50-year-old former Hole frontwoman will join the 29-year-old singer on eight dates of her Endless Summer Tour. Love teased the news Saturday on Twitter, and Del Rey announced the tour dates shortly after.

"See you in London in ten hours @LanaDelRey,"Love wrote. "We are going to own that town xxc #excitingnews2come."

Love and Del Rey will kick off the tour May 7 in The Woodlands, Texas, and wrap up May 22 in Ridgefield, Wash. Del Rey will continue on with a different opening act, and end June 16 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Love released her debut solo album, America's Sweetheart, in 2004. She currently has a second solo record in the works, while Del Rey last released Ultraviolence in June. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and includes the singles "West Coast" and "Shades of Cool."
