RALEIGH, N.C., May 7 (UPI) -- North Carolina's House Democratic primary race is too close to call, with singer Clay Aiken appearing to have a slight lead over the state's former commerce secretary, Keith Crisco, early estimates indicate.
With more than 99 percent of the vote counted, the one-time American Idol runner-up and Crisco each earned about 40 percent, while licensed professional counselor Toni Morris seemed a lock for third place.
