Ailing Rihanna cancels Houston concert

HOUSTON, April 16 (UPI) -- Rihanna's scheduled concert in Houston was canceled Monday night after the pop star fell ill, Live Nation announced.

The show is expected to be rescheduled.

The 25-year-old Barbadian singer's symptoms were not disclosed, but UsMagazine.com noted she was forced to scrap two dates last month after contracting laryngitis.

Rihanna is scheduled to perform in Dallas Tuesday night.
