LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Radio personality Howard Stern is in talks to replace outgoing judge Piers Morgan on "America's Got Talent," ABC News said.

Morgan announced this week he will not return to "Talent" next season because he wants to concentrate on his new CNN chat show "Piers Morgan Tonight."

If Stern does agree to join Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel on the "Talent" judges' panel, he could earn about $15 million a year for the gig, ABC News said.
