Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Actress Letitia Wright was briefly hospitalized after she was hurt filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel confirmed. The studio said in a statement to Variety that the 27-year-old actress "sustained minor injuries" on Wednesday.

Marvel did not specify how Wright had been harmed.
EW.com said she has already been released from the hospital after receiving treatment.
She has not publicly commented on the mishap.
Most of the movie is being filmed by director Ryan Coogler in Atlanta.
Wright's injuries are not expected to impact the shooting schedule.
The sequel to 2018's Black Panther is set for theatrical release on July 8. No plot details have been disclosed yet.
Wright plays Shuri, a scientist and the younger sister of King T'Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman.
She also played the character in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
