'Bohemian Rhapsody' tops the North American box office with $50M

Nov. 4 (UPI) -- The Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $50 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is The Nutcracker and the Four Realms with $20 million, followed by Nobody's Fool at No. 3 with $14 million, A Star is Born at No. 4 with $11.1 million and Halloween at No. 5 with $11 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Venom at No. 6 with $7.9 million, Smallfoot at No. 7 with $3.8 million, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween with $3.7 million at No. 8, Hunter Killer at No. 9 with $3.5 million and The Hate U Give at No. 10 at $3.4 million.
