Zac Efron, Lily Collins come together in new 'Extremely Wicked' set photo

Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Zac Efron and Lily Collins share a smile together as serial killer Ted Bundy and his longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer in a new set photo from upcoming drama, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

Efron posted the image, which depicts the first meeting between the pair, on Instagram Thursday. Kloepfer is famous for turning Bundy in to police after he had raped and murdered more than 30 young girls and women.

Kloepfer was unaware of what Bundy was doing. He was executed in Florida in 1989.

"When Ted met Liz #behindthescenes," Efron captioned the image. The photo is the latest released for the film which will be told from the perspective of Kloepfer.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile from Paradise Lost director Joe Berlinger, also stars Kaya Scodelario as Bundy's ex-wife Carole Ann Boone, who had an ongoing relationship with the killer throughout his televised 1979 trial.
