Matt Damon's 'Jason Bourne' tops the North American box office with $60M

LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) -- Matt Damon's spy thriller Jason Bourne is the No. 1 movie in North America this weekend, earning $60 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com reported Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Star Trek Beyond with $24 million, followed by Bad Moms at No. 3 with $23.4 million, The Secret Life of Pets at No. 4 with $18.2 million and Lights Out at No. 5 with $10.8 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Ice Age: Collision Course with $10.5 million, Ghostbusters at No. 7 with $9.8 million, Nerve at No. 8 with $9 million, Finding Dory at No. 9 with $4.2 million and The Legend of Tarzan at No. 10 with $2.4 million.
