LOS ANGELES, May 9 (UPI) -- Sharon Stone will appear in a forthcoming Marvel film.

The 58-year-old actress revealed as much during a recent visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden but kept mum on the specific role and movie.

"I am going to do a Marvel movie," Stone announced. "I'm just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can't tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements."

"But I'm going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That's it," she said.

The actress appeared on the late night talk show with Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, in the Marvel cinematic universe.

Stone's use of "wee" led fans to speculate she will play Janet van Dyne, wife to Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), in Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp. The movie would reunite her with Douglas, her Basic Instinct (1992) co-star.

Ant-Man and the Wasp co-stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly and opens July 6, 2018. Lilly plays Hope Pym, daughter to Hank and Janet, in the film, and previously told Cinema Blend she hopes Michelle Pfeiffer will portray Janet in the sequel.

"I would love to see a story where Hope somehow, I don't know, tries to find her mom or meets her or something happens where there's some amazing reunion," the actress said. "I think that would be super cool, and I have my dream casting already, for my mom."

Stone also discussed Soothe, an app to find masseuses, on the Late Late Show. The actress will next appear in The Masterpiece, a fictionalized look at the making of The Room, which has been called by some critics the worst film of all time.
