LOS ANGELES, April 19 (UPI) -- Jason Bourne released a series of teaser trailers starring Matt Damon on Monday.

The 45-year-old actor returns as the titular super spy in the action-packed previews, which see Bourne take on a number of foes and embark on a high-speed motorcycle chase.

Julia Stiles will reprise Nicky Parsons, with Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones in new roles. Riz Ahmed, Ato Essandoh and Scott Shepherd also appear in the new installment.

Damon previously played Bourne in The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. Jeremy Renner starred as Aaron Cross in the fourth movie, The Bourne Legacy, which mentioned Bourne but did not feature Damon.

Jason Bourne is directed by The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass, who co-wrote and produced the sequel with Damon. The film takes place 12 years after Ultimatum and opens in theaters July 29.

"There's been the financial collapse, the great recession, all these issues of cyber warfare and civil liberties," Damon previously said of Bourne's hiatus. "We find him in a dark and tortured place."
