NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Carol, Tangerine and Spotlight were among the movies nominated for multiple IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards.
Winners are scheduled to be announced Nov. 30 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
"We congratulate this year's nominated independent storytellers, who represent a richly diverse range of cinematic achievements that are bold, risk-taking, and beautifully crafted, " Joana Vicente, executive director of Independent Filmmaker Project and the Made in NY Media Center, said in a statement Thursday.
