Saoirse Ronan, Benicio del Toro to receive Hollywood Film Awards

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- The Danish Girl director Tom Hooper, Sicario actor Benicio del Toro and Brooklyn actress Saoirse Ronan are to be honored at next month's Hollywood Film Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

Hooper will be presented with the Hollywood Director Award at the Nov. 1 gala, while del Toro will take home the Hollywood Supporting Actor Award and Ronan will receive the New Hollywood Award.

Alicia Vikander will get the Hollywood Breakout Actress Award for her work in The Danish Girl, and the principal cast of the blockbuster Straight Outta Compton -- Corey Hawkins, O'Shea Jackson Jr. and Jason Mitchell -- will be recognized with the Hollywood Breakout Ensemble Award, dick clark productions said Wednesday.

Robert De Niro was previously announced as the recipient of the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.
