Fan favorites Lucy (Hadley Belle Miller) and Linus van Pelt (Alexander Garfin), Peppermint Patty (Venus Schultheis), Schroeder (Noah Johnston) and more also appear. The film used archival recordings of late voice actor Bill Melendez for Snoopy and Woodstock.

The 3D animated movie is based on the Charles M. Schulz comic strip, which will celebrate its 65th anniversary in October. Peanuts ran from 1950 to 2000, and inspired several animated films and television specials.

The Peanuts Movie is directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!), and opens in theaters Nov. 6. Schulz's son, Craig Schulz, and grandson, Bryan Schulz, co-wrote the film with Cornelius Uliano, and co-produced with Uliano and Paul Feig (Bridesmaids).
