American Honey follows a teenager who "gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love" after joining a magazine sales crew. Lars Knudson and Jan Van Hoy of Parts & Labor and Thomas Benski and Lucas Ochoa of Pulse Films will produce with Pouya Shahbazian.

LaBeouf last appeared in WWII film Fury with Brad Pitt, and is also scheduled for thriller Man Down with Kate Mara. The actor recently live-streamed his heartbeat for "#FollowMyHeart," a new project with "#IAmSorry" collaborators Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner.
