'Exodus: Gods and Kings' debuts TV spot trailers

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Exodus: Gods and Kings released two TV spot trailers on Wednesday.

"Two Brothers" establishes the relationship between Moses (Christian Bale) and Rameses (Joel Edgerton). According to the Bible, Moses was born into slavery but fostered alongside Rameses in the Egyptian royal family.

"Something is Coming" sees the brothers' relationship deteriorate after Rameses becomes pharaoh. The preview features Moses as he unleashes the Ten Plagues upon Egypt, and leads a rebellion of Israelite slaves across the Red Sea.

Ridley Scott (Kingdom of Heaven, Prometheus) directed and co-produced the film. John Tuturro also stars as Rameses' father Seti, with Sigourney Weaver as Rameses' mother Tuya, Aaron Paul as Moses' confidant Joshua and Ben Kingsley as Joshua's father Nun.

Exodus: Gods and Kings is scheduled for release December 12.
