LOS ANGELES, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Kristen Stewart stars in the first trailer for Camp X-Ray.

The 24-year-old actress portrays Private Amy Cole, a young woman who joins the army with idealistic expectations. The character ends up as a guard at Guantanamo Bay detention camp, where she is surrounded by hostile detainees and aggressive squadmates. Cole begins an unlikely friendship with detainee Ali Amir (Peyman Moaadi), and comes to realize her mission is not as black and white as it seems.
