'Ride Along 2' in the works, report says

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood's Universal Pictures is developing a sequel to its blockbuster comedy "Ride Along," starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, Variety reported.

The followup will reunite the stars with the original film's director Tim Story and screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, the report said.

No start or release dates for the production were specified.

"Ride Along″ is set for DVD and Blu-ray release April 15.
