The 40-year-old "Fast and the Furious" actor died in a fiery car crash on the afternoon of Nov. 30. His friend Roger Rodas, 38, also killed, had been driving the Porsche Carrera GT at the time of the collision in Valencia, Calif. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Tyrese Gibson, one of Walker's frequent collaborators, posted a message about the funeral on Instagram during the weekend.

"Today In a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead.... God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings," the Hollywood Reporter quoted Gibson as writing.

"For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment..... I guess you can't get all you ask for in life.... But our hearts are FULL from all the moments we DID have, 13 years of laughter and grace, humility and love ... ."
