'High School Musical' star Zac Efron breaks his jaw

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Zac Efron broke his jaw when he slipped in a puddle of water at his home, TMZ reported Tuesday.

The celebrity news website said the former "High School Musical" star's jaw is wired shut and he needed stitches to close a gash on his face.

Efron, 26, has checked into rehab twice this year to undergo treatment for cocaine abuse and since had been struggling to stay sober, TMZ said.
