'Ted' brings in $300M overseas

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Seth MacFarlane's comedy "Ted" reached $300 million in international sales, bringing the film's worldwide total to $519.3 million, officials said.

"Ted," which stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis, has topped Japan's box office for two weeks in a row, earning $15.5 million there, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Japan was "Ted's" final market. The film became the top grossing R-rated comedy of all time there, and follows "Hangover Part II" as the second top grossing R-rated comedy in history.
