"'America the Beautiful' is a collection of poetry and prose reflecting on the virtues and history of the United States from renowned philosopher and author Sri Chinmoy, who Nelson Mandela described as 'a voice of reason that we must all heed,'" the company said in a news release. "The book evokes the spirit of America's Founding Fathers and the great luminaries of our nation, presenting their views clearly and simply. It also offers a rare glimpse into the soul of America presented by one of the greatest philosophers of our time -- one whose dedication to his adopted homeland of America shone in every aspect of his life."

Dreyfuss is best known for his work in "The Goodbye Girl," "Jaws," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "Mr. Holland's Opus."
