Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Elisabeth Moss is going to be a mom. The 41-year-old actress confirmed Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she is expecting her first child.
After Moss appeared on stage, host Jimmy Kimmel asked Moss, "Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?"
"A little bit of both," Moss replied.
Moss said she's been "really lucky" during her pregnancy thus far, adding that, "It's been going really well."
The actress then asked Kimmel, who has four children, if he has any parenting advice. Kimmel shared a recommendation his wife Molly McNearney received from actor Bill Murray.
"He said, 'Bring Christmas lights to hang, or beads of some kind, a night light," Kimmel recalled. "He said bring music, which everybody tells you ... Bring battery-powered candles, if you want a candle."
"The lighting is terrible in the room," he explained. "It's Wal-Mart-style lighting for this blessed event that's going to happen and you don't want that."
Moss did not share further details about her pregnancy.
Moss also gave an update on the sixth and final season of The Handmaid's Tale, sharing that Season 6 will begin filming this summer.
The actress has starred on the Hulu series since its premiere in 2017.
