"Tony was been diagnosed with pneumonia but is in good spirits and is doing well," Bilotta said. "He was up walking around yesterday and his doctors think he should be able to return home within the week."

Dow's wife, Lauren Dow, told TMZ that Dow was tested for COVID-19 multiple times at the hospital and is negative for the virus. She said Dow was initially in the emergency room for 24 hours because there were no hospital beds available.

"On behalf of Tony and myself we thank you for your concern for him," Lauren Dow said.

Dow is best known for playing Wally Cleaver on Leave It to Beaver, which aired for six seasons on CBS and ABC from 1957 to 1963. The sitcom co-starred Hugh Beaumont, Barbara Billingsley and Jerry Mathers.

Dow reprised Wally Cleaver in the sequel series The New Leave It to Beaver, which aired from 1983 to 1989. He most recently had a cameo in the 2003 film Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.
