Jimmie Allen marries Alexis Gale at intimate wedding

May 28 (UPI) -- Jimmie Allen is a married man.

The 34-year-old country music singer married his girlfriend, Alexis Gale, at an intimate wedding Thursday.

Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Allen and Gale married at a small ceremony with family and friends. Guests included fellow country music singers Tyler Rich, Chuck Wicks and Darius Rucker.

Gale shared a photobooth photo on Instagram Stories of herself and Allen at the celebration.

Allen and Gale got engaged at Disney World in July 2019. The couple originally planned to marry in 2020 but delayed their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"does this really mean i get to grow old with you?! yesterday, i said yes to forever," Gale said on Instagram after Allen's proposal. "I am beyond words & lucky to be able to call this incredible man my fiancé."

Allen and Gale welcomed their first child together, daughter Naomi Bettie, in March 2020. Allen also has a son, Aadyn, 6, from a previous relationship.

Allen is known for the singles "Best Shot," "Make Me Want To" and "This is Us" with Noah Cyrus. He last released the EP Bettie James in July.
